LITIG Equity Partners successfully held 2025 Korea TPF forum at Conrad Seoul on February 20, 2025.


The forum featured prominent international arbitration experts, including Byung-Chol (B.C.) Yoon, Sae-Youn Kim, and Hyung-Keun Lee from Kim & Chang, as well as foreign attorney Sang-Yub (Sean) Lee from the International Arbitration Center of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB International). 


Five experts delivered presentations. Hyung-Keun Lee on "Key Issues in Corporate Use of TPF," Tae-Hun Lee, a foreign attorney (US) at LITIG Equity Partners, addressed "Analysis and Recent Trends in the South Korean TPF Market." Sang-Yub Lee, a foreign attorney (US) at KCAB International, discussed "TPF and International Dispute Resolution: Korea's Role and Global Trends." LAU Chee Chong and Mitchell Dearness from OMNI Bridgeway provided an investor’s perspective on the growth potential of South Korea’s TPF market.


Following the presentations, a panel discussion took place, moderated by Joon-Hyug Chung, a professor at Seoul National University Law School. Panelists include Jong-Hyuk Shim, Head of Legal Group 1 at POSCO International; Tom Glasgow, Managing Director and CIO of OMNI Bridgeway; Sae-Youn Kim at Kim & Chang; Jin-Seung Moon, CEO of LITIG Equity Partners; and Secretary of KCAB International.
